National Smile Month begins today and it is the UK’s largest campaign that aims to promote the benefits of good oral health. This year, the campaign is running from today (16th May) until the 16th June 2016, and has three key ideas:
- Remember to brush your teeth last thing at night, and at one other occasion throughout the day, using a fluoride toothpaste
- Reduce the amount of sugary food and drinks you consume
- Visit your dentist regularly
These three great messages are a great mantra to live by, and are really easy to follow and maintain!
